Description
Arnaud Lambert is based in Brézé, in the heart of the Saumur appellation. He makes a series of excellent still and sparkling wines from Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc planted in quite porous chalk soils mixed with clay and sand. He has been certified organic since 2012.
The Chenin Blanc for this wine was planted in 1985. Once the wine is made, it's aged 50% in stainless steel and 50% in old Burgundian barrels. The finished product is completely dry and tastes like green apples and fresh herbs.
