Description
Akareggi Txiki is a traditional winery with vineyards existing for generations but its current winery was set up in 1996. They grow only indigenous grapes on about 17 hectares. They make this uniquely Basque thirst-quenching Txakoli with bright acidity, pronounced minerality, and slight effervescence. The palate falls somewhere between lemon zest and green apple with a distinct grassy aroma. A no-brainer for white anchovies or cured meats. Relatively low in ABV, it’s also an easy beach wine.
