Description
Rado makes wines of tremendous vivacity and brightness. Skinzy was meant to be a macerated field blend, but trying to maintain a level of liveliness and freshness that you get from the Dramlje terroir while balancing the fun and exotic secondary notes from the skin contact. Rado's family's vineyards are particularly higher elevation and in a cooler area, combined with the fact that his cellar is a teeny underground stone cellar that maintains a constant ambient low temperature, this allows for his delicate style through gentle and slow natural fermentations that produce elegant wines with lower alcohol.
