Venus la Universal, Dido Blanc, 2022, 750ml

This wine is made from 50% Macabeu, 40% Garnatxa Blanca and 10% Cartoixà (aka Xarel-lo) from vineyards up to 70 years of age on limestone soils. Around 20% of the grapes are macerated on the skins for 24 hours, which, instead of tannin, gives the wine a plump and unctuous texture. It doesn't drink like skin contact, more like white wine ++. It smells a little spicy, but the palate is all ripe tropical fruit and melon.
